Jason Freisen

Research Scientist

Jason Freisen is an ocean scientist whose work focuses on marine biogeochemistry and open-ocean ecosystem processes.

His research includes oceanographic field observations, sampling operations, and collaborative studies examining nutrient cycling and biological productivity in marine environments.

Through participation in SUBSEA and Hawaiʻi Ocean Time-series cruises, he contributes to efforts investigating ecological and biogeochemical dynamics in the North Pacific subtropical gyre.
