Pierre Marrec

Field Coordinator

Pierre Marrec is a Marine Research Associate at the Graduate School of Oceanography at the University of Rhode Island with expertise in ocean biogeochemistry and plankton ecology.

His research is primarily observation-based, and he has spent significant time at sea aboard research vessels conducting oceanographic fieldwork and coordinating scientific operations.

As part of OneOBVI and SUBSEA, Pierre oversees core measurements collected during cruises aboard the R/V Falkor (too) and contributes to underway observations and field coordination across oceanographic expeditions.
