Raquel Flynn is an ocean scientist whose research focuses on marine biogeochemistry, plankton ecology, and nutrient cycling in the open ocean.

Her work integrates field observations, oceanographic sampling, and ecosystem-scale analyses to better understand how biological processes shape carbon and nutrient dynamics in marine systems.

Through participation in SUBSEA and Hawaiʻi Ocean Time-series cruises, she contributes to studies examining plankton productivity and biogeochemical variability in the North Pacific subtropical gyre.
